Enjoying The Perks Of Being Alive

Life should be celebrated. It is a gift. It  must be enjoyed and cherished no matter what. It may not be easy at all times. Gazillion problems may come our way to pin us down. But what is life without problems? What is life without challenges? Life is definitely boring without it. Not all may agree with me. But then again, c'est la vie.

Regardless of the gazillion problems, I am sure there are also gazillion reasons why we should enjoy life. One of the best things of being alive is that we can enjoy all the delicious food without our family and love ones.  Just recently, my family and I had dinner with a family friend in one of the popular restaurants which opened recently. It is also one of the most patronized restaurants. It was the first time we had been to that restaurant. The price is quite expensive. If not because of pride and shame, we almost went out right after we came in. The staff of the restaurant is not only polite and well-trained. They are also friendly.  

The restaurant has a great ambiance created by the beautiful commercial lighting fixtures which illuminate and adorn the entire establishment. They are using a variety of vintage lamps. Vintage sconce lights adorn the exterior of the restaurant. While mini pendant lights beautify the interior which create a dramatic effect. Some of the lights they are using are somewhat similar to the vintage lights we have at home. All in all, I am giving the restaurant a 9.5. The prices of the food may not be agreeable to my pocket. But it is definitely worth every penny. Their burger steak is one of the best burger steaks I have ever tasted. I also enjoyed their ratatouille, ox tongue and my favorite crema de fruta.  Even my brother's kids love them. Definitely, we will come back. But not right now. C'est la vie!

The Housewarming Party

Life can't get any better. The housewarming party last Saturday was a huge success. The most important people in my life were present to celebrate with me such a momentous occasion. Initially, I thought that none of them would come considering I invited them on such a short notice. I know how busy everybody is. But I am grateful that they made time for my housewarming party. Even my best friend who said she couldn't make it because of a business trip was also present much to my surprise. 

 

She even brought me mini pendant lights for my mini bar in addition to the ceramic lighting fixture she sent me a few days ago before the housewarming party. She is definitely someone after my own heart. That's because I have been planning to buy those mini pendant lights specifically the  Mini Pennsylvania Barn Pendant Light. Unfortunately for me, they are always not in stock. How she was able to buy them is beyond me. Either she knows when the product will be available or she only has perfect timing. Any how she bought it is impressive.

The mini pendant lights might look nothing special to some. They are just like any other lighting fixtures which sole purpose is to brighten our nights, provide navigation or use as a guide. However, lighting fixtures are much more than that. They are very useful in illuminating areas which are hard to reach. They are also artfully designed which made them a unique ornament as well. These commercial lighting fixtures which are normally found in restaurants and bars are also perfect for our homes as well. In addition, these lighting fixtures are an all time favorite lighting fixture  because of its effective and effective way of providing illumination. But what I like the most about this particular lighting fixture is that they can be customized to suit your lighting needs. I feel so lucky that I am of one of a few people who has this type of lighting fixture in their home.
