If there is a grain of truth to this urban legend or not, most people blindly believe it, including me. Just like everyone else, I truly believed that they are the home of these ghosts, specters and other spirits. But as I grow older and wiser, I realized that none of this is true.

Vintage items such as  vases, armoires, mirrors and lamps are precious objects. They are meant to be displayed and cherished just like the vintage pendant lamp which my grandmother gave me. She bought it from an antique shop yesterday. She said that it would look lovely in my kitchen. She was right. The vintage lamp is a great addition to my little kitchen. However, precious as it, I decided to display it in the library along with my other antique collection. I am afraid that I might accidentally break it. Besides, I already have a vintage lamp illuminating the kitchen already. It is a Topeka Ribbed Glass Antique Pendant Light which I bought online just recently. I suppose some people made up stories of ghosts and specters living in this vintage items so they could have all of these precious objects to themselves. Antique vases and lamps are wonderful decorations. They can also be a great collectible item. However, I felt nostalgic whenever I look at my antique collection. Each of these antique item has its own story which I may not know about. But one thing is for sure. Enjoying The Perks Of Being Alive

Life should be celebrated. It is a gift. It  must be enjoyed and cherished no matter what. It may not be easy at all times. Gazillion problems may come our way to pin us down. But what is life without problems? What is life without challenges? Life is definitely boring without it. Not all may agree with me. But then again, c'est la vie.

Regardless of the gazillion problems, I am sure there are also gazillion reasons why we should enjoy life. One of the best things of being alive is that we can enjoy all the delicious food without our family and love ones.  Just recently, my family and I had dinner with a family friend in one of the popular restaurants which opened recently. It is also one of the most patronized restaurants. It was the first time we had been to that restaurant. The price is quite expensive. If not because of pride and shame, we almost went out right after we came in. The staff of the restaurant is not only polite and well-trained. They are also friendly.  

The restaurant has a great ambiance created by the beautiful commercial lighting fixtures which illuminate and adorn the entire establishment. They are using a variety of vintage lamps. Vintage sconce lights adorn the exterior of the restaurant. While mini pendant lights beautify the interior which create a dramatic effect. Some of the lights they are using are somewhat similar to the vintage lights we have at home. All in all, I am giving the restaurant a 9.5. The prices of the food may not be agreeable to my pocket. But it is definitely worth every penny. Their burger steak is one of the best burger steaks I have ever tasted. I also enjoyed their ratatouille, ox tongue and my favorite crema de fruta.  Even my brother's kids love them. Definitely, we will come back. But not right now. C'est la vie!

The way our house look reflects who we are as a person. It may not always follow. But more often than not, our humble abode reveals who we really are. We may deny it as much as we like but we are giving away our true self  by the way we arrange and decorate our house. We are also giving away our true nature based on the choices of home accents or decorations such as the wall arts, paintings, centerpieces which beautifies our home. My boss' wife never fail to impress me with the way she designs her home. It shows how extraordinary she is as as person. Her choices of home accents is beyond ordinary.  It is always refreshing and new. She loves to make something great out of anything ordinary. If there are no home accents available to her liking, she will make one with her own hands. She is definitely a wonderful lady.
