Redecorating The Hospitals

Most of us avoids going to a hospital or clinic.  Hospitals and clinics can be equated to a bad news which we do not want to hear. As much as I can help it, I do not want to ever set foot in a hospital. Although I mentioned several great hospitals which do not look like our typical hospital in my previous blog, that does not mean I dislike hospitals less. For me, hospitals and clinics are still formidable places which are meant to be avoided. Unfortunately, hospitals and clinics are hard to avoid. 

Recently, I have been to one of the clinics in town because I accidentally twisted my right knee. I can barely walk because it is too painful to walk. Thankfully, my cousin knows the first aid to a twisted knee which made me walk somehow. I tried to take pain killers for two agonizing days to ease the pain but the medicine seems to work for a few hours only. Afraid that something worst may happen to my knee I gave in to my parents’ wishes to go to the nearest hospital and have a thorough check up.

I cannot remember the last time I set foot in the nearby hospital. But I was surprise to see the interior. It looks different from the last time I have been there. The walls are covered with graffiti. The entire place is also bright and chic because of the different lighting sconces which also adorn the walls of the hallways and the hospital rooms. There are potted ornamental plants everywhere too. But I like the garden best. It has different flowering plants which are highlighted with commercial landscape lighting which are often seen in the parks, plazas and famous gardens and landscapes. The commercial landscape lighting  is a Three-Tier Pagoda Light which reminds me of Japanese gardens. There are also other commercial landscape lighting fixtures which illuminates the pathways or walkways of the hospitals. Thankfully, I am glad that the management of the hospitals made changes in the exterior and interior design of the hospital. Because of the wall art, plants and the lighting fixtures, it made the once formidable place look like a safe haven.

The Importance Gooseneck Lighting Fixtures And Other Commercial Lights

 

The Opaque restaurant in Sta. Monica, California is an interesting place to dine together with your friends and love ones as it is the only restaurant which offers dining in complete darkness. A lot of people visit the place just to experience what its like to dine in the dark. It sounds fun and exciting as you cannot see anything- not even the food you eat, and the people you are dining with. However, no matter how interesting and weird that feels like to dine in the dark I still prefer dining with all the lighting fixtures on. I want to see the food I eat and the people I dine with. I want to see everything around me.

However, the experience of dining in the dark makes me appreciate more the lighting fixtures which adorn and brighten up commercial and residential spaces. It made me realize how important the gooseneck lighting fixtures and other commercial lighting fixtures which make our nights bright and safe. These commercial lights made me appreciate even the illuminated billboards which I normally just ignore everytime I pass by it everyday. In addition, I learn to appreciate my eyes for without them, I will not be able to appreciate the beauty of my surroundings and see the faces of the important people in my life.

Gooseneck lighting fixtures, landscape lights and other commercial lighting fixtures are probably the least appreciated indoor and outdoor decorations. But without these gooseneck lighting fixtures, I do not think that we can move around freely at night especially when there are no stars and moon to guide us. People in general fear the unknown and the things which are not visible in their eyes as darkness can be equated to danger. Moreover, I don't think we can enjoy a stroll in the park or enjoy a night out with friends and love ones without these lighting fixtures illuminating our path at night. The experience of dining in the dark was quite an interesting experience but to experience it again, I want to experience it in the comforts of my home where I am familiar and confident enough to move around even with my eyes closed.

Helpful Road Signs

The road is dangerous. It is even more dangerous at night and it is something that every one of us should be wary about. Aside from the dangerous individuals who are waiting to attack their victims, we should also be extra cautious while driving as accidents may happen anytime. In addition, we should be mindful of the different road signs in traffic sign frames along the way especially if we are not familiar of the road. Knowing how to read these signs and observing them diligently will not only save our life but the life of other motorists or travelers as well.

However, not all drivers know how to read these road signs or even if they do, they just ignore them. In my opinion, they are as dangerous as the criminals in the wanted list.  Ignoring these road signs in traffic sign frames may not only cause property damage but it can also put our life and the life of others in danger. It is one of the reasons why it is a must that we should be familiarized of the different road signs. Besides being attentive to these road signs while we drive is not hard to do. Even if the road signs are in another language, we we still recognize these road signs as they are a universal language.

Road signs in traffic sign frames are not installed for aesthetic purposes. Our tax money is not spent on these traffic sign frames made of cast aluminum as a mere display or as something to read along the way. They are installed to give us a warning or a friendly reminder that we should be careful on the road. In addition they are installed to give us a heads up of the road ahead. Accidents can happen anytime. But it can be avoided if we are all responsible drivers.

Commercial Post Lights For Safety And Aesthetic Beauty

For some of us it, is hard to imagine living in a dark place or where lighting is mediocre. No lighting fixtures to light our path at night or to brighten our homes are scary and uncomfortable. That is because a lot of bad things happen in the dark. We are well aware that most crimes happen in the dark. It is one of the reasons why we have lighting fixtures in almost everywhere. Streets, parks, commercial and residential establishments are all shining brightly at night because of these lighting fixtures may it be commercial post lights or home lighting fixtures. These lighting fixtures also make these places look attractive and safe. It makes the entire place alive at night.

However, while we are enjoying a relaxing stroll in the park even at night because of these various commercial post lights such as the Single 18 inches Route 101 Classic Radial Shade Pole Lights and Double 16 inches Route 101 Classic Radial Shade Pole Lights. Some people do not have that luxury. They do not have a decent pole light to guide them on their way home or home lighting fixtures to brighten their homes at night. Instead they finish everything they need to do before sundown and hit the sack as early as eight in the evening with only oil lamps, gas lamps or candles as their only light. This is a kind of lifestyle which most of us are unfamiliar. Some of us might be surprised that in spite of modernization or technological advancements there are still some places which remain untouched by these advancements.

Having experienced living in the boondocks myself is kind of refreshing. It is the kind of life which most of us want to experience every now and then because everything is laid back and slow. In addition, it is like living in another time as they are still using oil lamps, gas lamps or candles except those who can afford solar panels to run their home. If only there are commercial post lights or other outdoor lights to light the paths and keep the travelers safe at night it would be great staying in that kind of place for at least a week vacation.
