Who among you does not love cooking or eating or both? I am sure you love both or maybe one or the other.... That is maybe the reason why kitchen is one of the most important corners of every home. We always want our kitchen to be clean, well designed and complete with everything to cater all the needs of the family especially in preparing delicious food. Designers and architects also take enough time to accommodate their client's needs especially in designing their kitchen or during renovations.

For all of you out there who love having stylish cooking environment, you may definitely consider when designing your own kitchen:

Space

Ask your self how would you like your kitchen to be? Spacious or just enough for you alone to roam around while doing kitchen works. Also consult your architect because your kitchen space must also in sync with the other spaces in your house.

Kitchen Wares and Equipment

Purchase all kitchen wares that you think you will always use when preparing food everyday. Always think the basic things you need. Refregirator is one of the most important appliances you need in the kitchen. If you love baking and you always bake cakes and pastries then you may need to have an oven. 

Tables and Chairs

This should always match the furnishing and the color theme of your kitchen. And it should be sturdy and comfortable to use especially when you are cooking. You can ask your architect to help you with your purchases.

Lighting

For me this is the most important fixtures that you need in every corner of your kitchen. You need task lighting on the areas you always stationed to work. Also you need ambient lighting for you to see every corner of your kitchen if some areas needed to be cleaned and repaired. For task lighting I recommend pendant lights, those fixtures can be gorgeously installed just above the area where you want the light to focus on. And it should always be stylistic as well. There are few cafe and dining pendant lights available online that you can look into. 

Personally I want my kitchen to be furnished with white including the walls, few sets of furniture because the overall effect is tidy and clean. And when white furnish combine to other color the contrast can be visually stunning.
