Man's Best Friend

Dog's are said to be man's best friend. But at home, they are more than just our best friend. They are members of our family. We also talk to them all the time especially when we have problems. We also comfort them when they needed one. They may not be able to communicate with us in words how they care about us but for sure they are able send the message across in more ways than one.

The loyalty of a dog is remarkable. It will protect you at all cost. It will even sacrifice their lives for you. Dogs have a far better character compared to some people who will grab at every opportunity to take advantage of your kindness. They do not know the the concepts of abuse and deceit which make them a great companion than most people I know. Perhaps I am wrong to compare my furry family member to another human being. I am also fully aware that no man is fundamentally evil. That perhaps he had some real bad experiences which made him the way he is. But then again, man has the gift of freewill which allows him to choose between good and evil. Dogs do not have that gift.

Our pets do not ask us to provide them with all the luxury and comfort that we could offer. All they need is that we provide them with all their basic needs such as food and shelter. We should feed them with the right food, make sure that their dog house, if in case you have one, should be properly ventilated. We don't own one, so our dogs live with us. We just keep the Oklahoma lantern wall sconce on to avoid accidentally stepping on them if in case we need to go. They should also receive proper medical care. Moreover we should also provide them with lots of affection and attention. It is just weird though that while some animals are showing some signs of humanity, some men don't.
