The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

We owe ourselves a break every once in a while. Our mind and body needs badly needs it especially after working so hard. We can either go to a spa resort to unwind and have a relaxing massage, watch a movie with our family, friends or love ones, play a computer game online, go to the beach or if you have more than enough, enjoy a long vacation abroad such as Singapore.

Singapore is one of the best places to visit in the South East Asia. My best friend have been here once with her husband and son to celebrate her son's fourth birthday. She highly recommended The Fullerton Hotel Singapore because of their superb customer service and world class accommodation. She was also impressed with amazing architectural design. In fact, this luxurious hotel just recently received an award from The Asia Pacific Hotel Awards for Best Hotel Architecture (2013) and Travel + Leisure India’s Best Awards for Best Heritage Hotel (World Category) (2013). They have also earned a four star rating from Forbes Travel Guide 2013. They have earned numerous awards prior to these as well.

This grandiose hotel which shines at night because of the beautiful architectural lights and lanterns is located in 1 Fullerton Square Singapore, 0491786733, 8388. This hotel is used to be known as the Fullerton Building after the name of Robert Fullerton, the first Governor of the Straits Settlements. What's interesting about this 400-room-and-suite hotel is that this used to be the General Post Office and The Singapore Club and the Chamber of Commerce. Moreover there are other beautiful places surrounding the hotel area where you can visit and take pictures.

There are so many places that I wish I could visit. I wish I have more than enough money. But, while I am saving for my next vacation, I will just enjoy what I have right now.
