Commercial Landscape Lighting For Visibility And Aethetic Beauty

There is nothing more pleasing to the eye than a beautiful garden. Its beauty does not only relax and soothe our tired spirit. But it can make us smile as well. It can also bring comfort to a grieving heart. These are a just a few of the myriad reasons why we cultivate what little land we have to create a garden. 

 

Gardens bring happiness to our heart. I could guess that most of us leave a small space in our home or office for our little garden. However, the beauty of a garden can only be seen in the morning. Unless the moon is shining brightly, the beauty of the garden is hidden away from us. Thankfully commercial landscape lighting such as the Pagoda Fixture and Brass Path Light were designed. They were created to illuminate our garden at night. Thus, allowing us to see its pretty flowers when they bloom not only in the morning but in the evening as well. But that is not all. Commercial landscape lighting was also designed to keep our pathways or walkways safe at night. They make our lawn ideal for camping and soirees or evening parties.

The Garden of Eden might be hidden from us forever. We will never have the chance to see how breathtakingly beautiful it is just like Adam and Eve did along time ago.  However, we were given the gift to make this place as beautiful and perfect as the paradise in our imagination. All we need to do is plant decorative plants, trees and flowering plants to make this place a great place to enjoy and relax. We also need to strategically install commercial landscape lighting for the magical effect at night. These great commercial lights can definitely make an ordinary looking lawn look like a place from our fairy book become a reality.

The Housewarming Party

Life can't get any better. The housewarming party last Saturday was a huge success. The most important people in my life were present to celebrate with me such a momentous occasion. Initially, I thought that none of them would come considering I invited them on such a short notice. I know how busy everybody is. But I am grateful that they made time for my housewarming party. Even my best friend who said she couldn't make it because of a business trip was also present much to my surprise. 

 

She even brought me mini pendant lights for my mini bar in addition to the ceramic lighting fixture she sent me a few days ago before the housewarming party. She is definitely someone after my own heart. That's because I have been planning to buy those mini pendant lights specifically the  Mini Pennsylvania Barn Pendant Light. Unfortunately for me, they are always not in stock. How she was able to buy them is beyond me. Either she knows when the product will be available or she only has perfect timing. Any how she bought it is impressive.

The mini pendant lights might look nothing special to some. They are just like any other lighting fixtures which sole purpose is to brighten our nights, provide navigation or use as a guide. However, lighting fixtures are much more than that. They are very useful in illuminating areas which are hard to reach. They are also artfully designed which made them a unique ornament as well. These commercial lighting fixtures which are normally found in restaurants and bars are also perfect for our homes as well. In addition, these lighting fixtures are an all time favorite lighting fixture  because of its effective and effective way of providing illumination. But what I like the most about this particular lighting fixture is that they can be customized to suit your lighting needs. I feel so lucky that I am of one of a few people who has this type of lighting fixture in their home.

Living A Dream

It seems like yesterday that I am dreaming to live in my own dream house. Now, I have my own place to stay. This house is the result of all those years of working hard. Just thinking about it gives me a certain kind of thrill. I cannot explain it but I am excited to go home everyday. I suppose everybody who has the house of their dreams feels this way.

The architect and interior designer did a wonderful job in making my dream house into a reality. The pieces of furniture were carefully chosen. The landscape and garden is also perfect. I love the flowers and the decorative plants which were highlighted with landscape lights at night. The house is also decorated with hanging flowers. I also love the lighting fixtures she chose. Ceramic lamps adorn my living area as well as my bedroom and bathroom. While commercial pendant lights adorn my kitchen. Those commercial pendant lights which are normally found in restaurants, cafes and other commercial establishments look perfect in my dream kitchen. I fell in love with its design the first time I saw them in one of the famous cafes in town. Why not? They are are too classy to be ignored. Those commercial pendant lights which are now hanging in my kitchen were in fact customized to match with my dream kitchen. In addition, I am pleased that all the bulbs are LED(light emitting diode) just as I requested.

It feels like I am living a dream. Everything seems so wonderfully perfect. If I am I wish I will never wake up. Occasionally, I miss the chaos in the parent's house. I miss my mom's fussing and complaining. But I have my own home now.

Conserve Energy For Our Future

Conserve energy. This is not only taught in school but this can also be seen in posters, television ads and other promotional materials since time I can remember. I used to think that the main reason why we should do so is to cut down on our electricity bills.  Depletion of energy resource at that time was quite absurd since our source of energy is abundant. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The world is getting old. The population has doubled. The need for energy resources has also increased.

As a result we have been experiencing scheduled black outs, power interruptions and low power voltage for several years now. Some of our electric appliances and lighting fixtures have already been damaged because of these electrical failures. We have no idea how long these power interruptions last. But one thing is for sure. We need to do something about it. We can start by using solar panels to run the house is one of the solutions I could think of. It is quite costly but this is a perfect in resolving the power interruptions, low power voltage and the increasing cost of electric bills.

We already tried not turning on the step lights and the other outdoor lamps that we have. However, this is quite not helpful because I have tripped several times already. Besides, it defeats the purpose why we had the step lights installed in the first place. Step lights are not only for beautification purposes but it is meant for our safety as well. Instead we changed the incandescent light bulb which we have been using to LED (light emitting diode) to conserve more energy. This is also one way of helping Mother Nature as using LED reduces the greenhouse gas emissions from power plants which ran on non-renewable resources and lowers carbon dioxide emissions, sulfur oxide, and high-level nuclear waste. Furthermore, instead of turning on five step lights, one step light is enough because the four watt LED lamp which we are now using is in fact equivalent to a 40 watt incandescent light bulb.

High School Reunion

It feels good to see old friends and classmates again. I did not know how much I missed everyone of them until I saw them three days ago during our high school reunion. I am glad that I let my best friend me coaxed me into attending our third high school reunion. It brought a lot of good memories and erased all the bad ones. It also renewed old friendships.

The party which came later was awesome. It was a great night to remember. The food is delicious. The music is great. We hired a band that played several of the popular songs during our high school years. The venue could not be more  perfect. It was held in the only garden pavilion in town. It was also the first time I set foot in the pavilion. The landscape and garden is breathtaking. Different types of flowering plants and decorative plants surround the pavilion. They are artfully highlighted with commercial landscape lighting. The paths going to the pavilion were illuminated with commercial landscape lighting such as outdoor step lights and path lights for safety. In addition, all the outdoor post lights were lighted too for our safety. It also brought out the beauty of the pavilion at night.

I really had a wonderful time during our high school reunion. Catching up with old friends and classmates bring such a warm feeling. I have not seen most of them since high school graduation. I wish I did but I guess we must have been too busy after high school and college. I do not know when I will see them again. Spending the entire day with them may not be enough to fill in the gap of those years of separation. But I am glad that mobile phones and social networks are around. We exchanged mobile numbers, email addresses and social network accounts. These are enough for now. Enough to keep us connected until our next high school reunion.

Outdoor Post Lights In The Neighborhood

Outdoor post lights are important in every street, bridge, road or highway. They provide safety and illumination to motorists, travelers and joggers at night. They make a great decorative accent not only in commercial establishments such as the shopping malls, resorts and hotels but in residential areas as well such as the newly built subdivision near my place.

In comparison to the ordinary looking outdoor post lights illuminating our street, the post lights in the new subdivision are far more elegant and chic. The developers might have spent thousands if not millions just for the lighting fixtures alone. The outdoor post lights which are line up the streets of the new subdivision are a work of art. Each post light has a decorative base with an offset decorative hook with scrolls. The marine finished outdoor post lights are also customized with guards and refractors.  From what I heard the lamp holders are vibration and earthquake resistant. Aside from the expensive decorative post lights, the pathways are also adorned and illuminated with step lights. They also have a lovely landscape with garden benches for resting.

It must be nice living in that new neighborhood. It seems an ideal place to live in. But no matter how awesome and perfect the new neighborhood is, I believe mine is still better. Our neighborhood may not be the most expensive outdoor post lights but they still provide illumination in our neighborhood. They still keep us safe at night aside from the strict security. The pathways in my neighborhood may not be paved with step lights but the light coming from the energy saving compact fluorescent lamp in each pole lights is still bright enough to light our pathways at night. The most important thing of all is I have great neighbors whom I have known since I was a child. Transferring to a posh neighborhood sounds nice but I would never exchange mine.

The Beauty Of River Esplanade At Night

 

It always feels great every time I visit my paternal grandmother. I love the fresh air and the serenity which can only be experienced in the country. Besides, it always feels like home at my grandmother's home. I wish I could go home to her everyday. However, because of work, I cannot see her as much as I want to. I asked her several times to live with me but she would often tell me that the city life is not for her. She hates the noise. She also dislikes the busy city life.  But if there is one thing that she like about living in the city, that would be the river esplanade. 

The river esplanade has been one of the greatest attractions in the city lately. Aside from the wonderful garden and the clean river, the place is clean. It is also free from smoke and garbage. The “No Smoking” sign, "No Littering" sign and other warning signs which will destroy the beauty of the river esplanade can be seen almost everywhere. Anyone who is caught violating will be sent to jail and will be fined a huge sum of money. Thankfully, nobody dared litter nor smoke anywhere near the esplanade. But I guess that is not the reason why nobody dared violate the rules. In my opinion, the place is too awesome to be violated.

The river esplanade is even more awesome at night. Outdoor commercial lighting fixtures such as the landscape lights, step lights and pole lights are strategically placed in the garden, waiting sheds, and walkways which transforms the entire river esplanade into a real beauty at night. There are also outdoor commercial lighting fixtures along the river bank for everyone’s safety and protection. The entire place almost look magical as all of the outdoor commercial lighting fixtures are lighted up all at once. When my grandmother was still strong enough, she loves walking along the river esplanade with the entire family as it brings peace to her heart. I understand how she feels because I feel the same way too every time I walk the length of the river esplanade.
